RWANDA PRAYER BANQUET - PROGRAMS

The Rwanda Scholarship Experience Program

The first program is titled: “Rwanda Scholarship Experience Program”. The Rwanda Scholarship-Experience Program consists of providing a scholarship to the best and brightest student(s) from campuses across the United States, take them to Rwanda for a “Study Tour”. One of the highlights of the event is to hear passionate speeches from young Rwanda Experience scholars who came back with good testimonies about Rwanda economic development after the genocide that occurred in 1994.

The U.S./Rwanda High Schools Connection and Mentorship Program

The second program is titled: “U.S./Rwanda High Schools Connection and Mentorship Program.” This program goes in parallel with the “Rwanda Scholarship Experience Program.” High school students can take part in exchange program that widens cultural awareness, builds confidence, and allow them to learn a new language. This program can be as short as one semester or students can choose to stay for a full academic year.

The Rwanda Literacy Program

The third program is titled: “Rwanda Literacy Program.” This program aims to fight illiteracy among young girls and boys in villages. It is a long-term program designed to build a Strong Bible College, and more elementary, middle, and high schools in villages and provide main equipment including books, and various other incentives to help generate excitement around education.
