History
In early 2000, Ms. Antoinette Kanyabutembo, the Founder, together with the local group of Rwandan Christians, organized for the first time a mini-banquet evangelization in the basement of the Warwick Building, located at 1131 University Boulevard, Silver Spring, Maryland. The purpose of the event was to rededicate the Nation of Rwanda to the Almighty God in the reaction of 1994 genocide that occurrent in the country. They were believing that the power of prayer will transform the nation: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord and the people whom he hath chose for his own inheritance,” (Psalms 33:12 NKJV).

THE TWELFTH ANNUAL RWANDA PRAYER BANQUET USA – FEBRUARY 2014
Testimony by Mzee David Jenkins. Mzee Jenkins shared his experience with the Nation of Rwanda, and East Africa. For the nation of Rwanda he said: Quote “The Lord gave me the privilege to pastor in Rwanda. With that came the experience of sharing in the rituals of life – birth, marriage, sickness, and death. One great privilege was listening to the Bzee (elders) of Rwanda. We live in a season of history in which those who experience the East African Revival will soon be gone from this created earth. Now, we have the opportunity to listen to their voices. Frequently, this is at family gatherings and even hospitals…..”, Unquote
